6月，美國服務業活動降至四年來的最低點，主要受新訂單顯著下降影響。這一令人擔憂的趨勢表明，經濟動力可能在2024年下半年進一步放緩。供應管理協會報告顯示，其非製造業採購經理人指數（PMI）降至48.8，是自2020年5月以來的最低水平，較5月的53.8下降。這是今年第二次 PMI 降低至50以下，表明服務業出現收縮。PMI 指數的劇烈下滑可能預示著未來經濟挑戰的加劇。隨著消費需求減弱和企業縮減支出，預計即將發布的數據可能會進一步下降。
